Los Cenzontles in Sonora, Mexico

The Los Cenzontles Touring Band and 17 academy students traveled with Linda Ronstadt, Jackson Browne, and a documentary film crew, to the Rio Sonora Valley in Sonora, Mexico, to perform a variety of traditional Mexican music in the pueblos of Banamichi and Arizpe.
The Sunday edition of the L.A. Times included a cover article by Randy Lewis on the trip and many Los Cenzontles voices were represented–students, teachers, and band members.
