Over the last 33 years, the members of Los Cenzontles have connected to our ancestral rhythms by practicing traditional, rural, Mexican roots music with master artists from various Mexican regions.
Los Cenzontles dives deep into their ancestral heritage to learn the traditions of master folk artists and to pass on the traditions to younger generations. Located in the Bay Area city of San Pablo, California, they bring the traditions of rural Mexican towns to the urban cities of California.
