El Corrido de Anza

El Corrido de Anza tells the story of the 1775-76 expedition from Sonora, New Spain, to found the San Francisco Presidio. In partnership with the National Park Service’s Juan Bautista de Anza Historic Trail, and director Armando Aparicio, Los Cenzontles produced the music and video, shot along the trail. El Corrido de Anza was composed by Gilberto Gutierrez Silva (lyrics) and Eugene Rodriguez (music) and recorded by Lucina Rodriguez, vocals, Fabiola Trujillo (vocals), Shira Kammen, violin, Leonel Mendoza (harp), Eugene Rodriguez (vihuela and guitarra de golpe), and Emiliano Rodriguez (bass.)
